Contribution
The requirement of “participation by organizing an event” is not meant to be a heavy burden or a chore. Your contribution could be large: organizing a major field trip, or small: submitting (via email) information on a good sale you heard about. We understand that some years are busier than others, i.e. starting to homeschool, or adding a child to the family, so we will not be knocking on anyone`s doors, nagging you about your “participation requirement”. We also know that our group would be richer with your input, and we would like to encourage you to join in.

Payment
Members are required to pay a yearly fee in order to be part of the group.

The general membership includes the following amenities:

- Email list that notifies you about upcoming news and announcements.
- Monthly Mom`s Support Meetings.
- OCHEC membership and quarterly newsletter.
- Discount for a Homeschool Legal Defense Association (HSLDA) Membership.
- Dues help contribute to SLT sponsored events such as parties or speakers.
- Access to field trips that are organized by group members.
